What's great and what's not
The owners offered really good service, showcasing the renovated area and keeping the place clean. Breakfast had creative options that brightened my morning.
Unpleasant odors lingered throughout the premises, and noise from neighboring rooms disrupted my sleep, making it hard to relax.

Comfortable Stay but Needs a Touch-Up
The room was decent and clean, but it could really use some modern updates. Loved the breakfast, though! The staff was super friendly, but I had a tough time with the shower knob and it didn't work when I needed it. Watch out for some old stains in the hallway too.

The color scheme.
The size of the room, the cracked sink, the smell in the lobby, the workout room, the doors closed everywhere, the breakfast, the tiny lobby and the check in window.

The room was clean and cozy. I loved the comfortable bed, and the modern furnishings added a nice touch. Everything I needed was there, great for a budget stay. The lobby had a bit of an odd smell that was off-putting at first. Still, the cleanliness of the room made a big difference.

Location was convenient, staff was friendly, coffee was good and bagels were fresh.
The room seemed clean but had an odd, unclean odor. I could not access the fitness room. A diesel parked outside our room, with the motor kicking on and off all night long.

Bed was very comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Coffee was fresh!
Room was moldy smelling and bathroom was rank. It appeared clean but terrible smell! Breakfast wasn't anything special, dry cereal and toast

Great location
Wondered if I came in the back to the maintenance closet. Nothing welcoming. Cheap, self-stick linoleum. Had to walk up dirty stairs and through the smoking hallway to get to non-smoking (fyi: Warrensburg is a no smoking town). Smelled awful. No ac in halls which made it worse. Extremely dirty and torn carpets. I have pictures but they're on my phone-happy to share, though, if I need to. There was a dirty rag on the floor when we entered our room. We kicked it outside the door and it stayed there for 2 days. They moved our personal things to make the beds (a straight-up hotel housekeeping no). The cable kept cutting out for 10 min at a time so no tv. Internet was sketchy. I was there for a genealogy research trip and couldn't pull up any of my family tree info. Had to go to McDonald's for internet. Loiterers in the parking lot kept staring at everyone and taking pics on their phones. They sat in or on their truck (utility truck with no license plate) the entire few days we stayed there to the point we were concerned for our safety. My 'Burg family asked where we were staying and laughed when we told them. They said it's the town joke. I had seen the other bad reviews but we had no choice-it was the only room available on a weekend with a reunion and an air show at Whiteman. The saddest thing is that there was a Wyndham card in the "lobby" and my only hope is that it's a mistake. Wyndham-PLEASE do not put your name on this hotel. I'm a rewards customer (which the girl at the desk cared nothing about hearing-she just wanted to get back to eating her fast food laying on the desk). If this is a Wyndham hotel, I can no longer trust and book lodging on the Wyndham name alone, which I have done. And after all that, they called Booked.net to tell them I never showed up for my reservation. I had just changed dates, and done that almost immediately after the first booking so there was no reason for that. Obviously I was there.

There was a computer glitch which charged me for 2 bookings. The manager, Brittany, was quick to correct the error in our favor. We are grateful.
This hotel caters to contractors and construction workers. The no smoking signs were clearly ignored to my great discomfort, to which the staff told me, "Sorry, not much we can do about it." The man across the hall was not shy when hiring a lady for the evening. The lady was not shy about demanding he come down to bring her up to his room. Wifi signal was too weak to run my laptop. I drove a long way to be sorely disappointed.

The team provided a good service. I booked a room with a comfortable bed, cable programming, a microwave oven and a fridge. The breakfast was particularly nice, and the bar was kept stocked. The staff were very very helpful and excellent day and night. The location offered was particularly good and comfortable not far from the historic downtown area, yards, and Warrensburg for a wedding.
